Sempai & Kouhai take on KudoKan world in their first appearance together

Painting a picture of 3 siblings swearing revenge on their parent's murderer, and living relying only on their bond with each other, Ryuusei no Kizuna, while being a find the culprit mystery, is also a drama about those 3 people's youth. The screenwriter who worked on the drama adaptation this time was that KudoKan fellow, Kudou Kankurou. It seems both Ninomiya and Nishikido have started to take on that unique world view.
Ninomiya "First, I thought he imagined it very carefully, and I got the impression of a young screenwriter. I haven't read the original, and so outside of being told who did it by Nishikido (Ryo)-kun (smile), I read the script without almost no background knowledge, but I knew that it had a completely different atmosphere from the original. So, have confidence the drama and the original will be different things. Even though KudoKan-san said he wrote faithfully to the original (smile)."
Nishikido "I read the script after reading the original, but I had the feeling of my field of vision being broadened, like "Oh, there's this kind of perspective as well," and I thought as expected the world view was different from the original work. But it's because of that, I also had the feeling we could break out. I could think, things based off an original work tend to be compared to that original no matter what, but the drama is fine as a drama. Anyway, the tempo is incredibly good, and it's interesting, and it's KudoKan-san-esque. I'm very happy to be able to participate in that type of work."

Although they're sempai and kouhai in the same company, it's their first time appearing together in a drama. It appears that Nishikido is a little nervous, but....
Nishikido "It's pretty much the first time I've been able to work together with a sempai from our company. Further, because Ninomiya (Kazunari)-kun is an experienced and a fantastic sempai, I'm looking forward to working together. I don't intend at all to compete with him or steal something, just do my very best."
Ninomiya "For me, this appearance together is a little unusual. Because, when I acted together with my sempai, I was saved 100% by them, but Nishikido-kun has the image of already being able to do plenty on his own. So, I'm thinking I'll have to think about the meaning of Nishikido-kun and I doing this together now, with this timing."

You can feel the family's bond and love, a warm and heartrending fresh mystery.

The two are playing the older brother, who has care towards his family and a strong sense of responsibility, and the younger brother, who has power of action but is haphazard. Their awareness about constructing the character too, the same as their character's personalities, is characteristic to each of them.
Nishikido "KudoKan-san said is a character with high enthusiasm but low IQ, so I was thinking I'd like to go as high as my own limit, but I was embarrassed

Ninomiya・Kazunari Born June 17th, 1983, born and raised in Tokyo. He joined Johnny's Jimusho in '96 and debuted as "Arashi" in '99. With Letters from Iwojima that opened in '06 he achieved his Hollywood debut. Representative works of his include dramas Yasashii Jikan, Haikei Chichiue-sama (Fuji Television), Yamada Tarou Monogatari (TBS), movie Ao no Honoo, play Rebel without a Cause, etc.

and couldn't really do it, so... I want to conquer that (smile). And every time there's a fraud scene, there's also cosplay, so I also have to work on that. Just, I myself have 2 older brothers and a younger sister, so our family structures are similar, and I'm the younger brother type with the attitude that I have Ninomiya-kun answer first even in interviews, so that might be something I have in common with Taisuke (smile)."
Ninomiya "But, for me Nishikido-kun is, more than a younger brother, incredibly adult, or rather, he feels very calm."
Nishikido "Is that so? Since the read through Ninomiya-kun has been calm, and I though, 'Ah, he's an older brother we can rely on.'"
Ninomiya I play older brother characters a lot, but because I'm actually not an older brother, it's just that it's easy for me to imagine and portray. With character creation as well, I haven't opened the script at home, and I'm the type to get involved with construction after getting to the set, so basically, I haven't thought about anything. Rather than constructing it alone, doing it with everyone is better, and that way is more fun. Just, at the read through, I was told, 'Taisuke sounds like Daisuke," so I'm being careful to say my lines smoothly (smile)."

When asked about Toda Erika-san, who plays the younger sister, Shizuna, who is not related to the brothers, they instantly answered in unison, 'Cute!' With this attitude, they should be able to demonstrate fully the manner of good older brothers. These three sibling's casual give and take, and the comical fraud scenes, when linked with the mystery on the vertical axis, bring it to fresh completion, it seems. Also, it' spells a painful awakening of love and such, at any rate it's fully loaded with promise. These two are also full of enthusiasm.
Ninomiya "Because in a drama, relationships of mutual trust are important on set, I'd like to entrust everything to the director, and without getting worked up myself, I hope we can go on to make something where we gouge everyone's instincts. Also, so as not to cause unease for Nishikido-kun and Toda-san, I'd like to do things confidently."
Nishikido "I'd like not to do everything as I'm told, but achieve a good balance between the rigid parts and the flexible parts. Also, I too would like to do my best at properly playing Taisuke without getting worked up."
