Like a favored child, being aloof from the world, a surprisingly passionate and easily moved to tears Nino. From the things he's engrossed in to his feelings on older women (!?), an interview of Nino's "now." We send it out with lots of love!

In Nino's hands inside the studio were cards! That's right, what he's into now is card tricks. He displays his splendid skills to the staff. The man himself says he's "fastidious," but the bouquet he was holding awkwardly at the beginning soon begins to takes just the right shape, and as we thought he's a genius who possesses an innate sense for everything. We asked about things connected with the theme "A Bouquet of Love," but if Nino himself made something with "love" as the theme, what kind of thing would that probably become? "I guess it's got to be familial love. Because, I don't think there are any people who don't fall in love with other people, but familial love is something everyone has somewhere in their heart. Even if you remember when you were a child, imaging what it will be like after you become a parent is fine." Does he watch romantic movies? "I watch them. Oh, this is different from love (smile), but the one I saw the other day, Earth, was awesome! I thought humanity is blessed, and living has an amazing tenacity of purpose." Recently he's had a lot of human dramas, but does he think it's about time he might want to appear in a full-blown romantic drama? "Eh, I think it would be good for the one after next (smile)." Well, the question that's of interest to us, we'll ask it decisively! Does he think he could have a romance with an older woman? "Yes." The type that wants to be spoiled? "No, even is good. But I get caught up in things like video games and magic quickly, so it would be good if she could see that without getting angry (smile)". In the middle he continued talking about magic too much, so Nino actually apologized to us saying "I'm sorry." Kindness and cuteness, the place where his unique sensitivities are mutually drawn out in Nino is his charm.

Born June 17th, 1983 in Tokyo. Blood type A. In 1999 he debuted as a member of "Arashi." Currently, of course he participated in the group's activities, and even as himself, movies, dramas, and commercials as an extensive part of his activities. TBS's new drama starting on 10/17 at 10PM, Ryuusei no Kizuna, is based off Higashino Keigo's big hit mystery. Painting a picture of the bond of 3 siblings and revenge, Nino plays the eldest son, Nishikido Ryo his younger brother, and Toda Erika his younger sister. Mr. Kudou Kankurou's screenplays were also used.

Q Among Arashi's songs, which are you most attached to?

"A・RA・SHI!"

Because without this song, we wouldn't exist.


Q What's a country you'd like to go and see?

"London"

Because it's mecca, for magic (smile). I think it Las Vegas might be nice too, but it's kind of showy, so I guess it'd have to be the home [of magic], London.


Q What's something that made you extremely happy recently?

"That I made more friends"

Sorry for the elementary school answer (smile). Well, not through work but through magic.... When I drink with people from work, it often becomes a conversation about acting. So, when I drink with the people who have a connection to magic, as you would expect it becomes a conversation about magic. When we talk about acting I'm relatively quiet, but conversations about magic make me happy. I think, ah, it's great I've found something I can talk passionately about too.


Q What's something you think you'll be into next?

"Psychology"

It's incredibly important for magic. After that, there's also creation and storytelling. The person who wrote Alice in Wonderland did magic too.


Q What's something that recently moved you to tears?

"Watching a movie based on a true story"

I guess recently it was The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. I tend to be seen as someone who doesn't cry, but I cry pretty often even in front of other people.


Q If you were to represent love as a color, what color would it be?

"Red and Blue"

Red is "now, the present continuous tense." Including fights and passion and a lot of things. Blue is "memories." I like taking pictures, but the people and scenery generally come out tinted blue. I guess I want the temperature of the past to be fixed. Well, memories get beautified, so it's just right when they're tinted blue (smile).
